Student Health and Wellness is located at 550 Brandon Avenue, down the road from the old Elson Student Health Center, in Charlottesville. Student Health serves UVA students who have experienced sexual violence. These services are available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
- To access services at Student Health, you can either call them at (434) 924-5362 or walk into the clinic and ask for care related to an unwanted sexual encounter.
- UVA Medical Center

UVA Medical Center is located at 1215 Lee Street in Charlottesville. Their forensics services team includes specially trained nurses dedicated to serving anyone who has experienced sexual violence. These services are available 24/7.
- Whether you have experienced sexual violence in the last five days or more than five days ago, you can go to the UVA Emergency Department to get a forensic exam or call them at (434) 924-2331.
- Please know that if you go to the UVA Emergency Department for care beyond the time evidence can be collected, then you WILL be charged in full.
