To report an incident of sexual misconduct to UVA, first contact the Title IX Office.
- You can contact the Title IX Coordinator Molly Zlock or Deputy Title IX Coordinator Charlotte Breen by phone at (434) 297-7988 or by email at titleixoffice@virginia.edu, or you can file a report online through Just Report It.
- If you choose to file a report online through Just Report It, the Title IX Office will reach out to you within 24-48 hours. If you would like to make a report after hours, you can call UPD at (434) 924-7166 and ask them to refer you to the Dean on Call.
- Please note that "Responsible Employees," including Resident Advisors (RAs), Graduate Teaching Assistants (TAs), and all other student employees, must report an incident of sexual misconduct to the Title IX Coordinator when disclosed to them in their capacity as UVA employees. The Title IX Coordinator will reach out to you within 24-48 hours after a report is made.

The Title IX Office will discuss:
- Support and safety options: You can decide what safety, support, and/or investigation options you want right away, or you can take your time to choose. Support is available to you through the Title IX Office regardless of whether you choose to pursue any investigation options.
- Options for reporting to UVA and/or to law enforcement: Learn more about your investigation options at UVA and/or with law enforcement.
Victims can choose to stop participating in the reporting process at any point. Learn more about what happens if you choose not to move forward with a report.
