On-Grounds, staff and volunteers at the Student Safety & Support Team (SS&ST), Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), Student Health and Wellness, The Women's Center, and the Madison House HELP Line all have experience and training in working with LGBTQ+ victims and seek to create affirming and supportive environments for healing.
In addition, LGBTQ+ students can seek support on-Grounds through Multicultural Student Services (MSS), which houses LGBTQ Student Services, and the LGBTQ Center.
- Although not designed for emergency action, these resources can provide support and understanding as a victim processes their experience.
- MSS is a private resource, meaning if you disclose an incident to their staff, they will share that report with the Title IX Office and SS&ST who will reach out to offer support.
